The End of an Era: Last Day at OKCMOA

So much has happened, and I have so much to catch you all up on. But I want to start out with the last day of my job at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art. I’ve called this place home for 4 years, and on July 13 I had my last day at this phenomenal institution. I started out as an Education intern in 2008 and was hired on in a part time position as Education Administrative Assistant. After being promoted to Education Programs Assistant, I was hired on full time as Executive Assistant in December 2010 after I graduated from OU.

I don’t even really now how to put into words what the last 4 years have been like at the Museum. They have easily been some of the best years of my life. I have met some of the best people I’ve ever known, ones that will be friends for the rest of my life, and have had some very valuable experiences. This job has prepared me more than anything for the rest of my live and has helped me realize my full potential and what I want to do with the rest of my life, leading me to my decision to attend grad school at NYU.

I want to thank all of my amazing co-workers for everything they have done for me these last 4 years. I don’t even know how to accurately convey my thank for all that you have done for me. I will always remember you and will keep you updated on my life in NYC as long as you keep me updated on life in OKC!
